Isaac's Hernia Surgery

Just a quick update -- Isaac did fabulous during his surgery, and is enjoying all of the extra attention and love he is getting now!

Dr. SP said that the inguinal hernia was huge, but repaired nicely. We asked about the chances of a recurrence, and he said that even with the size of Isaac's hernia, the risk is only 5%. He checked for an inguinal hernia on the left side as well (20-30% of the population with an inguinal hernia on one side, also will have one on the other side). Dr. SP didn't see any evidence of one, so that was good news.
